News from the Benue State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of a suspected cultist over the murder of one Mr Oketa Simon who before then was a 300L student of the department of Mass Communication in the university. The deceased Mr Simon who is also rumored to be a cultist was shot dead and body found in a farm opposite Rahama Clinic in Logo II Makurdi on November 6 The police has since then arrested one 18 year old Samuel Ochoechi a non student as an accomplice to the crime. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to have connived with gang members notoriously known as Movement, Viper and Chemical who are all of the Red Confraternity to slay the said Simon who at that time was a member of the Black Confraternity over a dispute of a certain jean trouser.
