Buhari knew about the $289m NIA project - NSA Monguno reveals Ikoyi apartment scandal details

- Babagana Monguno, Nigeria's National Security Adviser has revealed that President Buhari knew about the NIA projects

- Speaking in an interview, Monguno said the president was briefed about the $289m project and approved it

- He also revealed that the EFCC boss, Magu had been approached to back away from the Ikoyi apartment, but he refused

Nigeria’s NSA, Babagana Monguno, has revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari knew about the National Intelligence Agency’s (NIA) covert operation that led to N13 billion kept in an apartment in Lagos.

In an interview with Premium Times, Monguno confirmed that he knew about the covert operation and took part in its gradual advancement.

NFF Technical Committee Recommends German Gernot Rohr as Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser

The Technical and Development Committee of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Saturday said it has recommended to the federation’s Executive Board a new Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles. A report on the federation’s website quoted Ahmed Yusuf , the Vice-Chairman of the committee, as saying the committee recommended Gernot Rohr , 63 for the position. He said the committee was convinced of the former German defender’s suitability for the job after a long session with him in Abuja on Saturday.
