In a time in Nigeria when the going seems to be tough and the country in dire need of some fresh financial inputs, the unexpected has happened for reasons not known to us. On Monday, the fedral goverment through its ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it would be offering $500, 000 (₦180,500,000.00), over seven vehicles and 350 electoral kits to aid a successful conduct of Guinea Bissau legislative election, slated for November 18, 2018. - The EFCC has revealed that the Zamfara state governor built a hotel with $3m he stole from London-Paris Club loan refund - Governor Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari is currently under investigation by the anti-graft body - The governor who is the chairman of the Governor’s Forum allegedly illegally diverted N19billion reportedly meant for "consultants" from the Paris club loan refund According to the Economic and financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officials in Lagos, the governor building a $3m hotel with Paris club refund to Nigerian states is Governor Yari of Zamfara state. According to Sahara Reporters, the governor who is the chairman of the Governor’s Forum was said to have illegally diverted N19billion reportedly meant for "consultants" from the Paris club loan refund.  The hotel is said to be a 100-room property situated in Lekki area of Lagos. NFF Technical Committee Recommends German Gernot Rohr as Super Eagles’ Technical Adviser

The Technical and Development Committee of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Saturday said it has recommended to the federation’s Executive Board a new Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles. A report on the federation’s website quoted Ahmed Yusuf , the Vice-Chairman of the committee, as saying the committee recommended Gernot Rohr , 63 for the position. He said the committee was convinced of the former German defender’s suitability for the job after a long session with him in Abuja on Saturday. The committee was impressed with Rohr’s profile and current activities for the German Football Federation (DFB).
